In our lives, a battle is either won or lost, and for our Senate Defenders, losing a few times will never stop them to pursue, and win the championship. On March 12, 2018, the Senate Defenders won against the Malacañang PSC – Kamao, in a nerve-wrecking game for the UNTV Cup Season 6 Finals held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The crowd at the Araneta Coliseum cheered loudly as the Senate Defenders lifted the championship trophy. Louder screams were heard as Jeffrey Sanders of the Senate Defenders was announced as the Most Valuable Player. Hats off to Senators Sonny Angara and Joel Villanueva as they contributed to the Senate Defender’s success.
The Senate Defenders donated Php 1.3M to Kythe. This is the Senate’s way to support the pediatric patients battling with cancer. To our dear Senate Defenders, thank you and congratulations!!
