Kythe joins Sanofi Partners in Patient Health Forum in Hong Kong

Kythe Sanofi Patient Health Forum Hong Kong

Part of Kythe’s international activities for the year 2014 is participation in the recently concluded 1st Sanofi Partners in Patient Health Forum, conducted last September 26-28 in Hong Kong.

Kythe offers its gratitude to Atty. Darwin Mariano, Director of Public Affairs, and Ms. Lyna Hernandez, Patient Advocacy Manager, of Sanofi-Aventis for giving Kythe representatives a chance to attend. Kythe Partner Relations Manager Ms. Karen Rivera and Executive Director Ms. Girlie Lorenzo were among the 100 participants from the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Australia, and other Asian countries who were present at the conference.

As part of strengthening ties in the global community for better health, the Sanofi pharmaceutical company spearheads the Partners in Patient Health (PiPH) events. PiPH enables delegates from across the globe to engage in dialogue about their different approaches in forwarding health, policy, and innovation.

The Kythe delegation was given the special honor of being able to present the Child Life Program as an approach for advocating psychosocial health, for the benefit of pediatric patients and on a national level. This was also a valuable opportunity to learn from professionals and fellow advocates from different sectors around the world. Kythe thanks Sanofi for the chance to travel, share the Child Life advocacy, and forge partnerships with individuals and organizations that work to save and improve lives.
