The whole Kythe community gathered on February 11, 2017 to celebrate 25 years of giving hope through simple sharing and togetherness. The celebration started with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Church of Gesu at the Ateneo de Manila University Quezon City with Fr. Ted Gonzalez, SJ and the Bukas Palad Ministry as guest choir. This was followed by a Kythe Family picture taking at the steps of the Church of Gesu, then lunch was held at the University Dorm Function Rooms to honor Kythe partners. The event ended with kite flying at the Bellarmine Field.
Co-founders Icar Castro and Girlie Garcia-Lorenzo, expressed their gratitude to the members of the Board of Trustees, core team, sponsors, medical partners and volunteers for their continued support to address the psycho-social and medical needs of our patients and their families. We look forward to spreading our wings further and higher in the next 25 years.
