On the heels of great success last March 2015, the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) celebrated its second National Pancake Day event in the Philippines. On March 8, 2016, diners availed of eat-all-you-can buttermilk pancakes at all six IHOP branches for only PHP250, PHP200 of which was donated to Kythe Foundation.

Prior to the nationwide event, dining, pancake decorating, and painting sessions for the Kythe patients were held last February at AFP Medical Center and at IHOP UP Town Center. In anticipation, the kids enjoyed their own free days of bright colors and tastes.
Global Restaurant Concepts Inc. is the franchisee of IHOP in the Philippines. A great part of the brand’s corporate social responsibility is the resonance of “Spreading Happiness” to worthy causes, and as a family restaurant, it has drawn inspiration from the joy of the Kythe kids and their families.

Last year alone, all IHOP branches were able to raise a total of PHP 400,000 through the eat-all-you-can promo. Kythe gives its special thanks to IHOP, notably to Mr. Archie Rodriguez, Global Restaurant Concepts CEO, for continued support to the organization—and with National Pancake Day, through a wonderfully filling, fulfilling campaign.
