Child Life United students conducted their practicum with Kythe Philippines. Child Life United (CLU) is a US-based organization which offers international practicum programs for individuals interested to pursue a career in Child Life. Now on its second year, the students visited Kythe partner hospitals in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to immerse themselves, and understand how the Kythe Child Life Program works.
The UP-PGH medical students also conducted a study on Kythe’s operations for one week. This is also UP-PGH second year with Kythe, as part of their student’s management coursework. The medical students are required to submit an evaluation and we in Kythe appreciate this so we can improve our management style. Kythe has truly become training ground for future Child Life Specialists and Doctors!
