Kythe is a non-profit, non-stock organization aimed towards improving the quality of life among hospitalized children with cancer and other chronic illness.
We are a group of trained professionals providing the Child Life Program. As the only foundation in the Philippines offering the Kythe Child Life Program, we have provided psychosocial support to over 8,000 children with cancer and other chronic illness and their families since 1992.
Together with our hospital partners, donors and volunteers, we aim to promote healing and growth.
We aim to inspire hope.
- Inspire hope and improve quality of life for hospitalized children that are suffering from cancer and other chronic illnesses.
- Because we believe that the hospital is not only a place to heal; but also to love, play, learn, and grow.
- Implement the Kythe Child Life Program to inspire hope and uplift the spirits of children hospitalized for chronic illness. The Kythe Child Life Program is a hospital-based, holistic approach that provides psychosocial support to the child and his or her family, to complement medical treatment.
- We will do this through our expertise in Child Life Science, and in collaboration with our partner hospitals and medical professionals, donors, and volunteers.
