Last January, I was with Joel MacCollan to visit patients at the Philippine Orthopedic Center (POC). Icy, one of the pediatric cancer patients, touched Joel’s beard because he looked so much like Santa Claus. Mr. MacCollan, CEO of Kinder Kander Genezing adopted the whole POC-Kythe Child Life Program. The Child Life Program aims to help children and their families cope with their illness.
