
Mr. Rey Gerardo E. Bacarro
President
With 31 years of his professional life devoted to the advancement of Pfizer, Inc., emerging as Regional President (Southeast Asia, India and Korea) and the President of Pfizer Philippines, Board of Trustees President Gerry Bacarro has also been a Managing Partner of Ascent Associates and a Fellow of the Institute of the Corporate Directors, and is a certified Executive Coach of the Hudson Institute of Sta. Barbara, California. He is an alumnus of the Ateneo de Manila University and the Asian institute of Management, and has attended senior executive development programs in Harvard Business School and the University of Michigan. He has served in the Kythe Board of Trustees for seven years.

Atty. Arnel Jose S. Bañas
Vice President
Vice President Atty. Arnel Bañas attended the University of Warwick for his Master of Laws degree as a British Chevening Fellow, and was among four recipients chosen from the Philippines by the U.S. State Department for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship from the University of Washington. He has also served as Deputy Secretary for Administrative and Financial Services of the Philippine Senate, and duly received the 2009 Gawad Dr. Pio Valenzuela Award for government service. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism at the University of the Philippines Diliman and completed law studies at the Ateneo de Manila University Law School.

Ms. Gloriann Magto
Treasurer
Standing as Treasurer for the Board of Trustees, Ms. Gloriann Magto holds experience as the Vice President of Finance and CFO of Asian Terminals, Inc., as well as the Finance Director and Associate Director of Risk Assurance for Pfizer, Inc., and a Senior Financial Analyst for Latin America on New York Secondment. She is a Philippine Certified Public Accountant and Internal Quality Auditor, and has also done work with the California Manufacturing Company, Inc., Globe Telecom, and Sycip, Gorres, Velayo and Company. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Xavier University and a Master of Arts in the Business Administration Regis Program at the Ateneo de Manila University, and joined the Pfizer Business Leadership Program at the Asian Institute of Management.

Atty. Regina Jacinto-Barrientos

Atty. Reggie received her Bachelor of Science in Legal Management in 1991 and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1995 where she graduated in the top 15 of her class, and was a member of the Editorial Board of the Ateneo Law Journal. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1996. In 1997, Atty. Reggie founded PJS Law, with colleagues David Puyat and Roy Enrico Santos. The firm focuses on corporate practice that has allowed her to effectively address various clients’ legal requirements but likewise bring in synergy of business relationships, addressing community contributions, bridging cultural concerns, and addressing nation-building components of transactions. She is the Managing Partner of PJS Law, and likewise heads the Firm’s Corporate and Commercial Practice Group.

Atty. Mona Dimalanta

Atty. Mona received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree in 1993, graduating cum laude, and her Bachelor of Laws (Ll.B.) degree in 1997 from the University of the Philippines, where stood as part of the Editorial Board of the Philippine Law Journal, the Honors Society and the debating team that participated in the ASEAN Varsities in Malaysia. She obtained her Master of Laws (Ll.M.) degree from the University of Michigan, where she attended as a DeWitt fellow in 2000-2001. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1998 and has completed a course on Negotiation of Financial Transactions by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and attended various seminars in the Philippines and abroad on negotiating power purchase agreements. Atty. Mona currently heads PJS Law’s Energy Practice Group while also acting as President of PJS Law Foundation, Inc.

Dr. Kelly Siy Salvador

Dr. Kelly Salvador is a practicing oncologist with clinics in Manila, San Juan and Pasay City, and is an active consultant at the Metropolitan Hospital, Chinese General Hospital and Perpetual Succor Hospital, as well as a visiting consultant at the Asian Hospital Medical Center and Perpetual Help Medical Center. He stood as Assistant Vice President of SM Investments Corporation, General Manager of the Springfield Breast Care Center, General Manager of the Hospice Philippines, Inc., and is an active member of the Philippine Cancer Society. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a medical degree at the Far Eastern University and underwent internship and residency at the Metropolitan Hospital, subsequently receiving subspecialty training in oncology from the Clinica Universitaria de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.

Mr. Junie del Mundo

Junie del Mundo is the Chairman and CEO of the EON Stakeholder Relations Firm and Chairperson of the MAP National Branding Committee. He is a prolific speaker for reputation management, corporate social responsibility communications, as well as other related communications topics. He was a Finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of 2010 Awards and stood as Chairperson of the National Public Relations Congress of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.

Mrs. Chiqui Escareal-Go

Mrs. Chiqui Escareal-Go has been the President, Training Manager and Senior Consultant of Mansmith and Fielders, Inc., and heads the Mansmith Training Group, which includes the Corporate Achievers Institute, the Day 8 Business Academy, Inc., and Connecting Mavens, Inc. She is a certified Master Coach by the Behavioral Coaching Institute and a member of the International Coaching Council. She is Vice Chair and Executive Director of Waters Philippines and a member of the Board of Trustees at St. Paul College Pasig. She graduated from De La Salle University with double degrees in Communication Arts and Marketing Management, from Ateneo de Manila University with a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature Teaching, and has attended advanced marketing programs at the Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School (Ceibs campus), Kellogg Business School, Burke Institute and University of California-Berkeley.

Ms. Icar Castro

A co-founder of Kythe, Ms. Icar Castro is a certified Master Coach at the Behavioral Coaching Institute and a member of the International Coaching Council. She has held over 25 years of experience in clinical psychology, education and human resources, as a former Montessori teacher and play therapist and child psychologist under Dr. Ma. Lourdes A. Carandang, and as a holder of senior HR positions with Citibank in Singapore and Manila. She graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology.
