Patients from National Children’s Hospital gathered once again to celebrate Sir William Bayot’s birthday on August 18, 2018. It was a Saturday afternoon, filled with smiles and good times as our Kythe kids together with Jive, sang and danced to great music, kicking all their pain away. Pop Squad was there too and they taught the patients how to make their own animal-shaped balloons.
On the latter part of the party, Sir William’s adopted patients came in front, read their birthday greetings and handed him a white rose. You see, Sir William is a very supportive sponsor of Kythe’s Adopt-a-Patient Program. Every year, he manages to add more patients to his list of beneficiaries. He aims to inspire more people to adopt at least one pediatric patient, so Kythe may have more survivors.
No words can express the joy everyone felt in their hearts that one fine Saturday afternoon.
